Orthokeratology or Ortho-K (also known as corneal re-shaping or overnight vision correction) is the use of specially designed contact lenses (RGP) to alter the shape of the cornea (the transparent front part of the eye) in order to reduce or correct low to moderate levels of short sightedness. Sleep in our lenses and wake up with perfect eyesight!
Dry eye occurs when the eye does not produce tears properly, or when the tears are not of the correct consistency and evaporate too quickly. Its is a very common condition and Caskie Opticians have a tailor-made consultation to diagnose the problem and help our patients treat the disease.
We understand not everyone can physically attend our practices but that shouldn’t prevent them from receiving the highest quality eye care. Caskie Opticians are happy to go to your home / care home and test your eyes in the comfort of own surroundings.
